A philosopher and sociologist in training, I currently work as a Business Analyst in Regulatory, Data, and Infrastructure Transformation at HSBC Germany.
Besides being mesmerized by the inner workings of a major global bank and trying to contribute a tiny bit to its progress, I am interested in value investing, entrepreneurship, personal growth, and connections between philosophy / sociology and business. These topics dominate my current reading list and set the background for the writings on my blog. My biggest interest right now is to work on a few pieces on value-investing for the long term.
In 2024 I finished my Ph.D. in philosophy and sociology at the Graduate College 'Practicing Place' at the Catholic University Eichstätt. My dissertation (published in German) focuses on realism in the football simulation Football Manager.
